Caring for the health of your nose and sinuses

Welcome

The Manchester Nose & Sinus Centre was established 17 years ago, in 2007, at the University of Manchester within the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

The Manchester Nose & Sinus Centre was developed to be a centre of excellence for the expert treatment and study of nasal and sinus disorders, as well as the extended applications of endoscopic sinus surgery and rhinoplasty.

Using state-of-the-art technology and the most modern instrumentation, your nasal and sinus disease will be diagnosed and managed by Raj Bhalla, an expert in his field of surgery.

At the Manchester Nose and Sinus Centre, we care for the health of your nose and sinuses. This is achieved:

Most surgery is performed using minimally-invasive techniques, as a day case procedure, and without nasal packing. For patients that have previously had more than one sinus operation, the surgeon uses his expertise in stereotactic image-guidance technology to plan and perform surgery. Similarly, complex revision rhinoplasty operations are also very regularly undertaken.

This website is an up-to-date resource for common conditions of the nose and sinuses, and advice after ENT operations. It can be used by patients, general practitioners and trainees in the field of ENT surgery.

We regret that medical advice cannot be provided outside the context of a consultation, and NHS referrals can only be made through your General Practitioner.
